DINING SUPERVISOR

ROLE AND RELATIONSHIP

As the Dining Supervisor your role will be to oversee daily operations of all dining services while prioritizing and enhancing the guest experience. The Dining Supervisor is also responsible for exemplifying the inclusive culture and community-driven atmosphere of our organization. We are looking for a leader that excels in customer satisfaction, detail-oriented service, compassionate communication, and sees themselves as a lifelong learner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Oversee dining operations for Campsite Brewing Co and develop strategies to improve guest experience.
  • Plan and monitor the day-to-day dining experience by managing reservation software, overseeing FOH staff responsibilities, and prioritizing elevated guest satisfaction.
  • Conduct employee written warnings by documenting necessary information up to Campsite Brewing Co. operational standards when the GM is unavailable. 
  • Lead through example, demonstrating personal care, self-motivation, and dedication to excellence. 
  • Ensure FOH staff’s compliance with all health code and sanitation requirements. 
  • Ensure that guest experience and product quality consistently meet brand standards.
  • Ensure that the company culture and core values are properly represented at all times. 
  • Ensure staff is trained on alcohol awareness procedures and adheres to protocols in notifying a manager of any guest demeanor requiring attention.
  • Ensure staff is trained on restaurant sanitation standards and ensure general cleanliness of the front of house and areas open to guest according to those standards.
  • Ensure that the company operates within assigned local, county, state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Understand and adhere to the company’s policies & procedures as defined in the employee policy handbook. 

SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS 

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to read and write English at an advanced level, Spanish language aptitude is a plus
  • Experience working in a beer-centric restaurant is a plus. 
  • Comfortable making challenging and/or uncomfortable decisions.
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • A critical thinker who is proficient in problem analysis and solving.
  • A genuine passion for the hospitality industry and ability to positively influence the workplace with an upbeat and inspirational attitude is a must.
  • The physical ability to remain standing for long periods of time. 
  • 21 years or older 

PHYSICAL  

  • Availability to work a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Regularly required to lift no more than 40 pounds unassisted
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time, use hands, grasp, push, pull, reach, crouch, kneel, crawl or bend, and perform repetitive motions of the hands and or wrists for an entire shift.
  • Frequently required to use hand-to-finger motions, handle or feel objects, and reach with hands and arms.

SCHEDULE 

Full-time; weeknight and weekend availability are required.

REPORTING 

The Dining Supervisor will report to the General Manager, or anyone appointed to a leadership position by ownership. 

COMPENSATION 

  • $28.00-32.00 per hour depending on experience paid in accordance with the company’s normal payroll cycle.
  • Competitive health insurance.
  • $250.00 education stipend annually. 
  • Annual PTO of 2 weeks for the first year (as defined in the employee policy handbook).
