Lead Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift)

Position Summary: 

We are looking for a Lead Maintenance Technician to be responsible for assisting the Maintenance Supervisor in the daily maintenance operations while performing and assigning tasks to repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide assistance and guidance to fellow technicians to ensure execution of department objectives/assignments, while performing duties associated with the maintenance technician role
  • Oversee shift maintenance personnel for the purpose of maximizing the efficiency of the work and meeting shift requirements
  • Read a variety of manuals, write documents, present information to others, and solve practical problems
  • Work as part of and with the team to meet deadlines, create schedules and set priorities
  • Adapt to changing work priorities, display mechanical aptitude; 
  • Maintain accurate and complete departmental records, i.e detailed shift reports, updating PM’s and WO’s in a timely manner, etc...
  • Support outside contractors as needed
  • Follow OSHA regulations about Forktrucks, chemical handling, LOTO, confined space, etc
  • Be comfortable climbing and working from a ladder on occasion

Job Requirements

  • Must be proficient in electrical troubleshooting, mechanical drive systems, & process flow i.e pumps. 
  • Must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings, construction drawings, machine manuals, electrical blueprints/schematics.
  • Microsoft Office and tablet familiarity.High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Degree/Certification or equivalent experience in industrial manufacturing preferred.
  • 3+ years working in an industrial manufacturing environment, preferably overseeing a team. ***Beverage experience not required***
  • Willingness to be on call and/or weekends.
