ROLE SUMMARY: 

As the Part Time Planner/Scheduler you will be supporting the production of a highly complex, 24/7 brewery by ensuring we have the right people scheduled at the right time. In this role we are looking for someone who is not afraid to get into the details, and who is flexible with ever-changing priorities and last-minute pivots to meet production goals.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Performs all complex scheduling functions including interpreting & applying relevant contract language.

  • Prepare and distribute required labor schedules in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Extensive contact with employees & supervisors relating to scheduling, vacations, sick leave & payroll.

  • Coordinate overtime schedule & maintain/schedule weekend manpower needed to meet production requirements.

  • Process weekly payroll, vacation schedules/changes, and leave of absence/FMLA administration.

  • Monitors absences in order to process pay for sick days, paid time off. Resolves scheduling issues.

  • Participates in new employee orientations, reviews and tracks appraisals for new hires.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • This is a part-time position with 25-30 hours per week (Only Weekdays), primarily on day shift.

  • Need to be flexible with schedule-however will primarily start between 7-8am.

  • No Health Benefits

  • High school education required, college degree preferred.

  • Ability to work with confidential and/or sensitive information in an appropriate manner.

  • Proficient in computer systems (i.e. Outlook, SAP, and MS Office).

  • Proven flexibility on the job.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication, organizational and presentation skills.

  • Microsoft Excel experience preferred.
