What you will be doing / Essential Responsibilities:
The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator is responsible for accurate receipt of finished product, scheduling incoming freight, and the workflow of the day warehouse shift. This position is responsible for accurately preparing and billing all outgoing freight and redemption. This position also requires the assistance of all inventory related functions to ensure that inventory is properly rotated and accurately accounted for.
-Coordinate with internal and external freight carriers to build daily receiving schedule
-Ensure all finished product is accurately received and rotated into inventory
-Ensure all freight claims are accurately documented and communicated to the ICC
-Complete all receiving paperwork accurately and timely
-Ensure all freight variances are accurately communicated and completed
-Ensure all intercompany transfers are accurately built and invoiced
-Ensure all cooperage and pallets are accurately invoiced and sent out in a timely manner
-Ensure the accuracy of retail truck check-in
-Coordinate the removal of all OOC, breakage, and recalled product
-Ensure warehouse is neat and orderly throughout each day
-Assist in all inventory related functions where needed
What we are looking for:
-Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, preferred
-Ability to work independently
-Excellent communication ability
-Excellent computer skills
-Availability to work on-site Monday through Friday 10:00AM-6:00PM
Critical Physical Demands:
-Sufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment including, but not limited to, computer keyboard, telephone, adding machine and copier
-Climbing stairs and inclined surfaces on an occasional basis
-Walking on hard surfaces on a frequent basis
-Frequent exposure to temperatures ranging from 30 – 100 degrees F on a seasonal basis
-Two handed lifting of up to 40 pounds from floor to shoulder height on an occasional basis
-Two handed lifting of kegs up to 160 pounds from floor to waist.
