We are currently hiring a Packaging Maintenance Technician Lead in Breinigsville, PA.  Position is responsible for assisting with the day to day leading of Maintenance operations and safety programs. Guiding and assisting in the maintenance and repair of the brewery equipment to ensure successful facility operation. Requires a high level of mechanical knowledge, including but not limited to the responsibilities listed below. Candidates must be a self-starter willing to accept “operational responsibility” as well as willing to work any shift including weekends.  What You'll Brew:

Must be able to work and lead in a team oriented and “Safety First” and continuous improvement environment Safely, efficiently and effectively work to attain department and brewery goals and objectives Must observe and practice all Department/Brewery Procedures 100% of the time Including, “safety first” work methods; wearing proper PPE, respirators, and/or all safety and sanitation equipment as required 100%. Must also enforce and follow all GMP guidelines Escalate any Technical or employee issues or concerns to Supervisors or Managers for action in a timely manner Assess daily Maintenance & Operations situations & problem areas Direct, coach and assign Maintenance Technicians to perform required tasks to ensure day to day maintenance duties are successfully carried out including safety, line coverage, repair & PM work orders Serve as point of contact for Maintenance Techs when Supervisor is not on shift/available Will also be responsible for completing the tasks of a Maintenance Tech including but not limited to:

Execute daily maintenance activities in support of the department and operations Diagnose & repair of electrical/mechanical machinery & process system malfunctions, must be fluent in troubleshooting

Actively involved in Planning, Scheduling, and Reviewing of maintenance work Follow work stream through AMMS assure labor & parts are correct on completed work orders Publish a daily shift report, detailing the work completed, problems mitigated, & shift pass-ons Participate in the daily OEE meetings when the supervisor is not available Interface with and develop cross-functional team building with quality assurance and operations partners Walk the production floor, speak with customers (production) & maintenance techs Work with the production team leads to ensure everyone is on the same page for the line changeovers Use a punch list to track and verify all items were addressed Assist with the training of technicians Notify Supervisor of opportunities for the team or individuals Enthusiastically drive collaboration (teamwork) and continuous improvement through strong, committed, positive working relationships Recommend improvements and desirable modifications to our processes and equipment Utilize lean manufacturing methodologies in daily standard work to drive improvements in safety, quality, and overall line performance There is frequent exposure to warehouse/production environments subject to noise and cold/hot temperature changes Must be available to support shift, weekend and holiday schedules as required May require some work in confined space

What Ingredients You'll Bring: Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma and applicable technical knowledge required 4+ of experience in industrial operations, plant operations, maintenance, utilities, and/or related field Experience in the installation and repair of mechanical equipment required. Strong Mechanical aptitude 480V 3 phase knowledge required Skilled in application and use of mechanical tools, hand tools, and power tools Skilled in machine shop to machine within specific tolerance using various measuring equipment Verniers, calipers, and depth gauges etc. Experience and or knowledge of VFD’s, control systems (PLC’s/HMI’s), electrical protective equipment Skilled in developing and implementing PPM and troubleshooting programs and job aids.

Preferred Qualifications:

Mechanical or Trade School degree Experience and knowledge of personal/process control computers, programmable logic controllers (PLC) and Networking devices a plus. Allen Bradley and Modicon experience Skilled in welding, sanitary welding, pipe fitting, soldering and rigging Knowledge and practice of NFPA 70E Experience in use of PC’s, knowledge of Computerized Management Maintenance Systems (CMMS)
