Figurehead Brewing Company is a seven-year-old brewery in the Magnolia neighborhood with a passion for hand crafting balanced and approachable beers for every occasion. We are looking for an individual to perform all aspects of beer production under the supervision of the head brewer. A successful candidate will be energetic, self-motivated, and interested in the unique opportunity to grow along with our business. This position will play a critical role in our goal to double production over the next year.

The current full-time opening is for a lead brewer who will be involved in all steps of the production of beer including cleaning kegs and tanks, monitoring fermentation, packaging beer, and brewing on our manual 7bbl brewhouse. This position will also includes representing Figurehead at local events, interaction with customers, and occasional keg delivery to accounts throughout the Seattle area.

Minimum Qualifications:

- 2 years professional brewing experience

- Passion for beer and brewing

- Good communication skills

- Dependable

- Excellent problem solver

- Mechanical aptitude

- Desire to be part of a small and growing business

- Ability to work independently

- Detail oriented

- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

- 21+ years old

- Ability to lift 55 pounds and maneuver 160 pounds

Compensation:

- $20 - $25/hr DOE

- One week paid vacation and holidays

- Medical stipend
