Field Sales Representative
Job description
Objective:
The Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling Station Craft draft and canned beers to on and off-premise accounts in his/her assigned territory. This position is expected to independently grow the sales volume of Station Craft.
Responsibilities:
- Increase market share and sales of Station Crafts beers by spending more than 50% of his/her workday prospecting and securing new business by determining focus areas within designated territory, setting up presentations, and utilizing stop-by techniques.
- Delivery of product in a 25-50 mile radius.
- In addition to designated territory, the expectation is to increase accounts in North OC, Long Beach, LA, Inland Empire working with our beer delivery service partners.
- Place orders for all active accounts based on weekly/monthly beer volume needs, delivery schedules and all other contributing factors; maintaining/ordering to proper pars in accounts on core beers.
- Manage accounts receivable, keeping accounts in good standing with invoice payments.
- Provide superior service to existing customer base by providing POS materials, educational sessions, and tours & tastings as instructed.
- Maintain responsible expense planning to achieve maximum return on investment.
- Responsible for order placement and processing through Ekos.
- Manage his/her territory’s promotions and special events as delegated by management, acting as a representative of the Company.
- Participates in sales strategies and goal planning for the Station Craft outside beer sales effort.
- Maintain self-education on Station Craft brands and the craft beer industry.
- Complete other duties at the discretion of management.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in sales or customer service, preferably within the beverage or hospitality industry
- Passion for craft beer and a deep knowledge of different beer styles, brewing techniques, and industry trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with diverse clientele, including distributor partners
- Strong organizational and time management abilities to prioritize and meet sales targets
- Flexibility to work weekends and occasional evenings for events, and promotions
- Valid driver's license
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be willing to travel within assigned sales region
