For over 25 years the Woodstock Inn Brewery has produced high quality craft beer, right in the heart of the White Mountains. We are looking to add to our team of dedicated brewers with a full time cellar person. This position is ideal for someone with professional brewery experience who can ensure quality in day to day cellar operations and is open to learning all aspects of the brewing process over time. As the cellar person you would be instrumental in ensuring the quality of our finished beers by managing fermentation, properly transferring and filtering beers and ensuring all beer vessels are kept to a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

• Monitor fermentation and keep all relevant records
• Dry hop and add ingredients according to recipe
• Perform CIP/SIP on fermenters, conditioning tanks, product lines and filters in accordance with SOPs
• Transfer and filter beers
• Carbonate beers to correct level
• Work directly with brewer to ensure fermenter availability and preparation
• Help identify areas of improvement in cellar equipment and processes
• Help with other tasks when needed
• Maintain clean and organized workspace

Job Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience or brewing specific education
• Must be 21+ years of age
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to work both independently and within a team, with minimal supervision
• Good time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities as needed
• Willingness to adhere to safety, environmental and brewery standards at all times
• Passion for craft beer
• Overtime and weekends may be required
• Valid driver's license required with clean driving record
• Must pass drug test

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to stoop, crawl, twist, turn, lift, kneel, climb ladders, and perform repetitive motions of the hands and or wrists for an entire shift
• Ability to regularly lift 55 lbs and to manipulate kegs weighing up to 165 lbs
• Ability to work in a cold, hot, loud, or wet environment

Starting Pay: $18-$20

Sign on Bonus $500

$250 after 3 months, another $250 after an additional 3 months
