PAY RATE: $21.40 per hour

SHIFT: Monday - Friday 6:00AM-2:30PM

WORK LOCATION: Elysian Brewing Co. - Seattle, WA

ROLE SUMMARY:  An Elysian Warehouse Technician will be responsible for fork-lift driving while primarily owning the consistent flow of transportation needs throughout our Production Facility on Airport Way. This includes loading and unloading shipments; picking and storing inventory; and general organization duties. This position reports directly to the Warehouse Lead (Airport Way). Relevant experience is a plus; Flexibility and a ‘Get-It-Done’ attitude are a must.   

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:   

  • Oversee warehouse shipping, receiving, and inventory for both onsite/offsite locations 
  • Schedule all maintenance operations for warehouse fleet and operations 
  • Review warehouse layout and ensure efficient space utilization/optimization 
  • Recruit, select, train, coach, and grow all warehouse techs 
  •  Initiate, coordinate, and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures 
  • Manages performance & career growth opportunities of Warehouse Personnel through performance reviews and regular one-to-one meetings 
  • Workplace transport safety pillar owner driving continuous improvements 
  • Employee scheduling to ensure complete coverage within labor budgets 
  • Responsible for inventory control and accuracy in all internal and external inventory holdings. 
  • Ensures all departments are adhering to FEFO processes within the brewery 
  • Leads projects for continuous improvement in inventory management 
  • Manage stock control and reconcile with OBeer 
  • Complete end of month (EOM) counts with precision 
  • OBeer subject matter expert for all inventory movements 
  • Primary point of contact for all safety related incidents occurring in the warehouse 
  • Main point of contact for all brewery wide initiatives impacting warehouse 
  • Responsible for product dump logistics and financials 
  • Daily review of production order reconciliation and correction 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:   

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • 2+ years of Supply Chain Experience/Leadership experience 
  • Experience in inventory management 
  • Understands and employs a Safety First approach 
  • Proven ability of setting goals for the work group, developing organizational capability, and modeling how we work together 
  • Builds and maintains relationships with strategic industry partners 
  • Leads discussions and presentations with team 
  • Develops strategic and operational plans for the work group, managing execution, and measuring results 
  • Plans and manages business unit and department processes and practices to ensure that programs are aligned with company business goals and objectives 
  • Builds cohesive operational plans focused on delivering key business objectives  
  • Excellent attention to detail, follow through, and commitment to quality 
  • High attention to detail for root cause analysis 
  • Proven ability to provide clear, constructive feedback to team 
  • Proven ability to prioritize and delegate work under constantly shifting business needs. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules to meet deadlines 
  • Ability to successfully handle multiple tasks and prioritize well 
  • Demonstrated initiative and innovation utilizing a proactive, team-oriented approach
