Beer Traffic Controller (warehouse & Delivery)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate daily warehouse activities to ensure quality control, inventory & space management
- Logistics and Delivery of Cans and Kegs between multiple facilities and special events
- Prepare orders for distribution
- Maintain Cooler Inventory and work with Production Manager to prepare for upcoming Batches
- Oversee Accuracy, cleanliness and organization of coolers at multiple locations.
- Inspect warehouse equipment and tools and perform general maintenance when necessary.
- Additional responsibilities include assisting with packaging and cellar operations.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Must have an interest or passion for working in the craft beer industry, but no experience is
- required.
- Experience in a fast-paced, physically demanding work environment.
- Able to work in a team atmosphere while maintaining individual tasks and responsibilities.
- Must have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to multi-task and follow management direction.
- Ability to learn quickly and apply new procedures and skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crawl and crouch.
- Heavy physical work including climbing ladders, pushing pallets of grain, etc.
- Willingness to work in hot, cold, and wet conditions.
- Ability to handle heavy objects safely. Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and
- routinely maneuver full kegs.
- Ability to safely handle hazardous chemicals in accordance with safety protocols.
DETAILS
- Potential for Full or Part Time positions available. Pay is hourly. Work week is based on a
- Monday-Thursday 10 hour/day work week, but some Fridays/weekends may be required. Due
- to the production schedule, incidental overtime may also be required.
- Must be 21 years old.
