Job Description:
Brew, CIP, and maintain brewing systems (30 bbl, 3 bbl, 10 gal)
CIP fermentation and brite tanks
Operate and maintain centrifuge
Operate and maintain CIP skid
Perform daily measurements and sensory analysis of product in process, and make process decisions to ensure quality
Perform fermentation additions including dry hops, fruit, finings, etc.
Carbonate brite beer to spec
Krausen beer from fermentation vessels
Fill and rack product in and out of oak barrels
Keg pilot batches
Log production activities on brew sheets and in brewery management software
Maintain a clean production area
Drive and operate forklift and scissor lift
Participate in product development meetings, sensory panels, and product description meetings
Schedule Rotation:
Morning shift (A) 7am-3pm
Morning shift (B) 6am-3pm
Afternoon shift (A) 12pm-8pm
Afternoon shift (B) 3pm-11:30pm
Rotating weekend duties- approximately 2 hours; biweekly
