You should have significant experience leading teams, managing a high-volume establishment, crafting world-class customer experiences, and growing and supporting your team. You’re a people leader, a team builder, a systems creator, a self-starter, and an expert communicator.
You live for your variable, full-time schedule which includes nights, weekends, holidays, and any other times of peak pub sales volumes.

Essential Functions:
Managerial
Responsible for overall management and supervision of all pub staff - hiring, training & onboarding, scheduling, supervision, motivation, professional development, performance evaluation, coaching/corrective action/termination, conflict resolution, setting standard work, etc.
Lead the Leaders - Responsible for pub leadership team direction, coaching, morale
Pub team building - listening, learning, coaching, praising, critiquing, culture building, and directing
Working with SVPs on pub staff wage benchmarking & compensation, new position requisitions
Owning accuracy/consistency/timeliness of pub staff time records, tip calculations/distributions, morning reports, and pub projections
Demonstrating a deep belief in our mission - to be a positive force for our community, to foster a safe and opportunity-rich workplace, and to create an excellent beer experience
General
Pub long-term strategic planning, and aligning this planning with overall organizational goals
Translating strategy into actionable goals, models, and pub experience crafting - setting & monitoring KPIs and making plans to hit them, evaluating pub customer experiences, building/executing change proposals
Regularly working operationally to proper ensure coverage, customer experience, & KPI goals
Curate positive guest experience across all pub properties, e.g. handling guest complaints, monitoring reviews, and converting dissatisfied customers into return customers
Pub inventory, costing, pricing
Health & Safety - ensuring our team members, guests, and visitors have a safe environment, that food safety guidelines and practices are in place and maintained, and alcohol service rules/regulations/best practices are followed
Working with Controller and SVPs to implement and work within pub budgets, review pub financials
Pub festivals & event involvement - planning/coordination, execution, scheduling, etc. e.g. Festival of Dark Arts, Lupulin Ecstasy Fest, 4th of July, Halloween Hellorium, NYE, etc.
Pub facilities & equipment - repair, maintenance, purchase requests, Point of Sale management, and overall Pub property cleanliness & presentability
Communication
High level of communication with leadership
Respectfulness & professionalism in all communication
Participating in or driving key Pub/leadership meetings
Owning internal and external Pub communication- policies/procedures, announcements, customers, event inquiries/coordination, vendors, contractors, neighbors, regulatory agencies & law enforcement, etc.
Assisting Marketing Team with Pub marketing communication
Attending industry functions and building key relationships with outside partners in pursuit of goals and overall mission
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, & Ideal Qualifications
Substantial experience leading teams in complex, high sales/volume craft beer and/or restaurant context
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Decent math/analytic chops when it comes to things like P&Ls, inventory/costing, COGS, etc.
Strong sense of integrity, honesty, and professional ethics
Passion for people, people management, Pub operations, the craft beer industry, and providing world-class beer experiences
Passion for coalition building, collaboration, and continued process improvement
Able to work with/learn related software (POS, Google Suite/Excel, etc.)
Able to work with/troubleshoot Pub equipment/hardware
Must be 21 years of age or older
Valid Food Handlers Permit, OLCC servers permit, Cicerone CBS required (can be obtained upon hire)
